POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking a Lead, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Specialist who will be based in the Okanagan. This position reports to the Application Support Supervisor and provides leadership to a team CMMS Specialists and operational leadership in the effective use of JD Edwards CMMS to the business units.

This individual applies excellent communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist other specialists and our business on issues related to the support and maintenance of our JDE CMMS system, best practices and processes. Responsibilities include end-user support, training, documentation, change management and continuous improvement initiatives. This position is primarily based in the office but could require domestic travel up to 20% of the time.

Essential to this role is the ability to work with the business and vendors to ensure changes are well defined and appropriately implemented using change and release management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a supervisory role;
• Broad based business skills and acumen;
• Proficient and knowledgeable with with the JD Edwards Maintenance, Procurement and Finance modules;
• Proficient and knowledgeable in maintenance and procurement practices;
• Finance/accounting knowledge;
• Excellent communication skills to interface with mill staff, regional and corporate personnel;
• training and online technical support to multiple users;
• Good communicator, and able to work in a team environment;
• Experienced trainer and facilitator;
• Excellent organization and presentation skills;
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, including desktops, servers and mobile devices;
• Familiarity with the principles of ITIL;
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or equivalent work experience;
• Enjoys being creative and innovative, with the drive to Improve Business Systems and Technology.
